Hi my name is Karen Rhodes along with Patty Bloeser are Co Presidents of Rowdy's fan club. We have been volunteers with the rescue for a few months and have enjoyed every minute.
Rowdy is a great little horse that has some big responsibilities traveling around educating school children and entertaining at fundraisers. He is very lucky to have survived the slaughter house as you will read in the story.
Rowdy is a permanant resident of the rescue and your membership would help him and his fellow horses continue to live the life a horse should enjoy.

Rowdys Fan Club
Rowdy is a young miniature dwarf pony. He is dark brown with a blond tail. His mane is both dark and light in color. He has two white socks on his right rear hoof and front left hoof. See below for Rowdy's story.

Rowdy's Fan Club
Rowdy prior to coming to the rescue in 2007 was going to auction with many other miniatue horses at New Holland, Pennsylvania's infamous kill buyer auction. Many horses at New Holland go to slaughter, healthy or not, young or old, sadly the owners see a value per pound, not per horse. The PA rescue group; AnotherChanceForHorses purchased the dwarf colt and shipped him to Ga. because they knew our rescue had plenty of experience with dwarf mini's. Working together we saved this little horse called Rowdy (who lives up to his name). Rowdy is a permanant resident of the rescue and needs a sponsor. Rowdy often travels to events, fundraisers, schools to educate others about dwarfism, minis, the rescue and slaughter. Please join Rowdy's Fan Club and become a supporter of the HRRRF, Inc.
